Drumming Workshops
Our school’s application to The Arts in Education Residency programme was successful this year and as a result we have been able to fund a block of drumming workshops which began last week with Brian Fleming (www.brianfleming.ie). Brian brought 30 drums from different parts of the worldwith him to GDR. Over the next few weeks, the children will learn all about the different drums, learn some traditional rhythms and hopefully put on a short performance for parents on the final week of the workshops.
